Wednesday mornings are important to me. It’s the only real 1-2-1 time I share with J now that I work full time. Each week I try and do something crafty or fun, so that we have some structured play and make the most of our time together
I’m always on the lookout for homemade activities that we can do together on a Wednesday morning and this week we made and played with “gloop”
Gloop is something the hubster and I learned about at J’s nursery and is known as a “non-newtonian fluid”. It’s a really basic mixture of cornflour and water and is a solid until disturbed, at which point it becomes a liquid
In all honesty, it kind of freaks me out. I just don’t understand it, it’s all rubbery and hard one minute and all gooey the next when picked up. J loves it, and it’s such a cheap activity and cleans off so easily that I’m quite happy to prepare the mixture as often as she wishes
Here are some images of our fun with gloop on Wednesday

Oh my girls, especially Mads, would absolutely love this- they love anything that’s slimey and gunky! I will have to give it a go, it looks lots of fun. Xx
