I weigh every Tuesday evening and will be posting an update on my blog each week before the weekend is upon us. My weight loss challenge is here
I can’t believe I have been running this post for 4 weeks already…it is going soooo fast!
It’s been a week of highs and lows. The highs are that we went swimming on Saturday, to the zoo on Sunday (2.5 miles walked). Food has been pretty consistent although exercise in general and my gymming needs a right royal kick up the bum right now. I am getting back on the gym wagon this weekend!
My stomach also really played me up this week. If it continues I’m going to go to the doctors but as it’s just come from nowhere I’ll be kick-starting my food diary (which I’m sure the doctor will ask for), but it will also assist with food intake and syns
Food has been good, I didn’t get to make or eat homity pie, but I made a SW friendly cottage pie for the hubster and J (I cannot stand mash) and for me I made a vegetable and chorizo risotto with green beans, yum! I ‘synned’ the chorizo and the rest was syn free
I have 7 more weigh-ins before my 30th so here we go for this week…
This week’s information:
Loss this week: 1lbs
Overall loss to date: 6.5lbs
Highs of the previous week: Every Friday the boys in the office I work in go for a fry up and our team is invited. Declining and excluding myself from a bacon butty has made me feel a little sad so I decided to make my own healthy bacon sandwich! I’ve also made picnics each time we’ve been out on the bank holiday (with the exception of meeting friends on Saturday for lunch). I had a small wholemeal roll and lots of fruit in the picnic, with my syns for a pack of twiglets so I can have ‘a treat’
Lows of the previous week: Getting the car munchies. I bought a pack of wagon wheels for the picnic as the hubster isn’t a fan of fruit and often wants something sweet. They didn’t make it to the picnic and were instead munched on in the car by the three of us. We had a few leftover and ate them on the road trip the next day. Fail
Food news: I’m keeping a food diary this week, I quite often forget to, or think I’m doing it okay when I am not 100% so this will keep me contained. I also aim to increase my water intake through squash or herbal teas to a minimum of 2 pints – I am usually so bad at this
Challenges for the week ahead: We are back to routine this week so hopefully no real lifestyle challenges (ha!) but I want to visit the gym a total of 3 times (Friday, Saturday and Monday) and getting this routine back is a challenge in itself!
Here’s to another week and another loss ahead, I want 2lbs off this week
