Me and Mine {December 2017}

And so there we have it, a complete year of monthly family photos. I am so immensely proud of the fact we’ve continued this throughout the year, and it’s been so nice to look back on our photos and the memories that accompany it. Christmas was amazing and I really saw and felt the magic in Js eyes this time around. Her face when we met the real Santa in Trentham was amazing and it almost made us believe

We have a few days left of the school holidays and while it’s been a pleasure to have her around, she definitley needs structure and routine back in her life. Here’s our favourites from the month gone by and photos from each month in 2017

  • Loved watching J in her school performances in December. Her little face as she spotted us made my heart melt
  • Was amazed at how much the magic came alive in December with Buddy the Elf, Santa visits and Christmas Day
  • Has enjoyed having some quality family time on the weekends and over the Christmas break

The hubster loved:

  • Seeing J with Santa in Trentham
  • Watching J’s face as she opened her main present from Santa
  • Spending a day with Sherry in Bath child free

J loved:

  • Getting her space scooter and a watch from Santa
  • Seeing her Aunty Shell over Christmas
  • Finding out every morning what her cheeky elf Buddy had got up to

Lexi loved:

  • Going for morning frosty walks and acting like a puppy

It’s been a brilliant year for so many different reasons and I’m looking forward to the challenges and memories 2018 will bring us. Here is our year in monthly photos – all with an outdoorsy theme, all with me in some form of denim (must try and change that part next year!)  and all with my little family

January – The New Forest

February – The Devil’s Punchbowl

March – Woolacombe

April – York

May – Halnaker Hill

June – Hill Head Beach

July – Winter Park, Orlando

August – Hill Head Beach

September – The New Forest

October – Forest of Beer

November – Swanwick Lakes

December – Trentham Gardens

We were definitely well travelled in 2017, and while 2018 will feature less extensive travel, there will still be lots of adventures and memories. I can’t wait to experience it all. Happy New Year everyone, from the Cooks
