Halloween Chocolate Apples

When I was a young girl I’d walk round the supermarket with my mum and dad for their weekly shop and see amazing candy and chocolate covered apples on sticks in the fruit section. It always seemed like the most exotic fruit and the most delicious treat on earth in amongst the standard ‘boring’ fruit and veg (I’m obviously a 90’s child…) and most weeks I’d plan to spend my pocket money on one. Of course it never really worked out that way as the supermarket was always too far for me to travel and so my pocket money usually got spent at the corner shop

Home Cooking Adventures

Since embarking on a food plan without caffeine, additives or processed food I’ve had so much energy, my skin feels good and I’m a lot happier. It’s also spread to rest of Cooks Cabin and as a family we’re all eating better, we’re making meals from scratch again and are spending more time creating food that makes us feel satisfied. Living in a world free from processed food is difficult and we’ve found ourselves talking about how best we can get past this and have the things we love without impacting our busy schedules during the working week
