A few photos from yesterday’s sunrise with the girly girl. We went to St Catherine’s Hill, we ran to the top of the hill (not my wisest decision at 7am and in a -5 temperature I’ll admit!) and then watched the sunrise with a cuppa and a camera. It wasn’t the most spectacular location for a sunrise, but there were remnants of snow and she was one happy child. I love that I’m raising an outdoorsy and adventure loving child, a child who will gladly get up at 6am on a Sunday with me and make some memories with her mummy. She encourages me to be a better version of myself 💛#outdoorsfamilylife
We caught a beautiful snowy and frosty sunrise this morning but instead of sharing that I want to share this one I took as the sun was setting last night. I love the golden glow on the pony and think it’s one of my favourites so far this year 💛#outdoorsfamilylife
The snow had disappeared where we live this morning so we decided to head for a spot of cycling in the new forest...until when we approached the new forest we realised it was under a blanket of snow and wasn’t the same as where we live 😂. Needless to say we weren’t prepared and there was no cycling. Hubs was in his thin non waterproof trainers, J had no waterproof trousers and was soaked within minutes as she was rolling in the snow and jumping in ice puddles and I had jeans on and was determined not to get soaked until we had completed our adventure ...I was so excited as we drove through the forest to our spot - I couldn’t believe there was still snow about. ☃️ Today was simply amazing and to top it off we were treated to a beautiful snowy(!!!) southern sunset...My first one 🌅 What a way to end a Saturday 💛#outdoorsfamilylife
Month 1 of 2019 is about to be wrapped up and marks the 4th year we’ve been doing family portraits. Swipe across for how our walks normally end up, and the first photo of us joining in with the #meandmineproject Loads of people have moaned about January but for us it’s been glorious with its colourful skies and crisp mornings, and a slower pace of life in general. Onwards and upwards to February #outdoorsfamilylife
On an Instagram feed full of snowy pictures here’s a sunny southern sunset - as usual we’ve missed out on the snow but we do sunsets pretty well. Here’s one from our new forest walk this weekend - we missed the colours right at the end as the sun went behind clouds, but this moment did make me smile 🌅 #outdoorsfamilylife
When you’re out on a walk and the sun is setting and makes everything have that golden glow. I was walking behind and stopping to take photos when hubs looked back at me and yelled “don’t move!” And the sunny glow in this picture is why. A rare photo of me on the grid, but it’s been a while since I’ve shown my face...hello! Ps - we were walking into very strong winds and I look a tad cold and wrapped up like an eskimo #outdoorsfamilylife
